Hey everyone! I hope you are able to find some fun and stay active these next couple weeks! Here is a compiled list of ways to keep those little hearts pumping and feet tappin. Hopefully this helps so that boredom does not take over.

- Mrs. Oakey K-3 PE
- Mrs. Broadhurst 4-5 PE
- Ride a bike
- Play tag with small groups, when you are tagged do butterfly stretches
- Play boardgames, in between each turn do 5 sit-ups
- Jump rope - stop, do 5 pushups, and then continue jump roping
- Stand on one foot for 15 seconds, switch feet
- Dance to music
- Play noodle tag with brothers and sisters
- Build a fort in the backyard or in your living room- be creative!
- Turn on music and dance while doing chores
- Play cowboys and prance around like you were riding a horse
- Skip to a beat. When The beat stops do high knees
- Use a drum to make rhythms- skip, hop, jump, run, walk, slide to the rhythm
- Play red rover with your family
- Play mousetrap with your families
- Play red light, green light. Between each game, run in place for 20 seconds.
- Put on a circus, with bikes, somersaults, tight rope, etc
- Jump on a trampoline
- Ride your scooter
- Do handstands
- Practice cartwheels
- Practice pushups and situps with music ( make it more fun!)
- Help move furniture or heavier boxes ( what you can manage)
- Play GAGA ball on the tramp
- Make a square out of chalk, divide the square in 4. Have one friend stand in each square. Get a ball and bounce the ball to a square, if they miss it, that person steps out and you each rotate. Last man standing wins.
- Play aviator with family or friends.
- Make a band with pots, pans, and utensils found in the kitchen, perform for your family
- Play fitness UNO- each card represents an exercise. Red- 5 push up’s, Green- sliding Blue: skip around the room, etc. you can choose your exercise or activity.
- Play bean bag toss
- Make a dance party
- Play noodle tag
- Memorize your poem while jump roping
- Scarf dance- grab scarves or ties and dance around with them
- Do a track and field event with your families
- Dance with your stuffed animals
- Jump on the trampoline with your stuffed animals, see who can make their animal jump the highest.
- Balance activities:
- Stretch out a piece of tape on the floor, and then walk on the tape, one foot in front of the other.
- Place pots and pans on the floor randomly, but a safe distance apart. Jump from one to the other.
- Jump on one foot, then switch
- Do a stork stand, balance on one foot with the other foot tucked up by a knee for 20 seconds then switch feet.
- Do a slackline a few inches off of the floor.
- Do floor tucks, sitting on pockets, holding both knees to your chest and stay balanced on your pockets with both feet off the floor.
- Sports:
- Play football
- Play soccer
- Play basketball
- Play tennis
- Play hockey
- Go swimming
- Play volleyball
