Mrs. Allison Gunnell
This school year (2024-25) will be Mrs. Gunnell's 14th year of teaching. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 6th and 4th grade - WOW! She is looking forward to an exciting year with a brand new group of students! Mrs. Gunnell was born in Ogden, UT but moved to Layton, UT when she was 2 and lived there until she moved to Logan to attend Utah State University after graduating high school. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2000. Mrs. Gunnell has been married to Mr. Gunnell (JayDee) for 25+ years and together they have 4 children: Ethan, Emma, Hannah, and Isaac . Even though none of her children are small any more, she considers them all her babies. Mrs. Gunnell LOVES to read, watch movies, eat ice cream, cookies, and watermelon, hike, travel, laugh, and teach. She and JayDee are channeling their inner farmer and are raising not only children but a golden retriever named Thunder, two cats - Coconut and Lulu, and 13 chickens! She loves to help her students grow their brains and feel confident in achieving success. She's looking forward to a GREAT year!
